Treasurer

Quincy Bufkin is the Assistant Director for Diversity, Equity and inclusion in Student Living at Syracuse University. He is a Milwaukee, WI native and graduated with a Master’s in Education in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Quincy has been working for Syracuse University since 2016 and is primarily responsible for leading and furthering departmental initiatives connected to intercultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion. He is looking forward to continuing this work with the Amish A Foundation in his role of secretary. Outside of work, Quincy enjoys spending time with his son, Grayson.

Candace Denson was born and raised in Central Florida. She currently resides in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Adler Graduate School. She has always had a passion for helping others which has been reflected in her positions from Administrative to Healthcare to Counseling. She enjoys mentoring and helping our youth. For the past 5 years, she has had the opportunity to work with students ranging from 6th-12th grade academically, personally, and socially and help them reach their goals and be their best selves holistically. Additionally, she is a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in which her devotion will continue with her efforts for the Mish A Foundation in her role of treasurer. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring and learning about different cultures, and traveling.


Mishereen Ellis

CEO

Mishereen Ellis, for whom this foundation is named after and founded by, was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica and raised in Milwaukee, WI. She currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Clarke University. Mishereen has spent over 12 years of her career working with youth from the higher ed sector to now the K-12 sector. She has always had a passion for working with youth in her community and volunteering to serve in any way she can. When she is not following her passion of serving, she is living out one of her other passions, which is DJing. She is the proud owner and operator of Lens on Records, a premier entertainment company in Minneapolis, MN.

Additionally, in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling the world.


Gabrieline Reece

President

Gabrieline Reece is a distinguished film producer, director, founder of several noteworthy organizations including, Women Who Influence, and Brand Experience. With over eight years of experience in the public relations industry, Gabrieline has amassed an impressive background in managing celebrity PR/events relations-clients, including Hollywood A-List, TV Personalities & global brands. Gabrieline places great importance on the capacity of individuals to create a beneficial impact on society. With her platform, Gabrieline encourages and affirms her audience, inspiring them to recognize their potential to create a positive change. Her message resonates with a broad range of audiences, from employees at large-scale corporate events, community organizations, and Women in leadership seeking to make a difference through their marketing and branding initiatives. Gabrieline is deeply committed to making a positive impact and leaves her audience feeling inspired and motivated.
