Who are We?
We are a non-profit working to alleviate financial barriers for youth of color seeking to accomplish their academic and career goals.
Lens On Records L.L.C is our parent for profit partner from which most of our funding comes from. The LR store is a grassroots initiative that allows for micro financing from the community. When you make a purchase at the store 100% of the proceeds will be going directly to our foundation and to help fund our I.B. Dawkins Youth of Color Scholarship.
We know we cannot achieve our goals on our own, so our mission is to work together with other businesses, non-profits, governmental agencies and community members to accelerate our goals.
Want to support?
If you make an apparel purchase at the LR store in an effort to support, but do not want to keep the item, you can donate your purchase back to us and we will then donate it to a local homeless shelter of our choice.
